Welcome to the Liberty Ridge Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) where all parents and teachers of Liberty Ridge Elementary are members and there is no membership fee. Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate, vote, and be informed. The PTO publishes a monthly newsletter keeping all families up to date on what is happening at the school. Flyers advertising PTO sponsored activities are also sent home throughout the school year.
Your PTO is responsible for many services and activities for the school and students, such as providing partial funding for field trips, assemblies, the Art Docent program and other enrichment activities. Past major projects taken on by PTO have included a new sound system in the gym, popcorn machine, playground equipment purchases, library materials, a climbing wall and a new gravel track. PTO was also able to help provide document cameras in all classrooms, which are amazing teaching tools. The budget to approve where funds will be allocated this school year will be voted on at the first general meeting in September.
